“Cheat sheet” for your dog’s upcoming behavioral assessment

- How check in will work:
- When you arrive, text your dog’s unique PIN to 917-512-2828. (Note that assuming your dog passes the assessment, in future you’ll use the member website for checking in/out.)
- Your dog’s PIN is included in the automated confirmation email.
- Do NOT call the phone number, please use text
- Please be patient — we may not reply by text but will come out and check you in/out ASAP
- Do NOT text when you are still on your way over — text when you are at the store or in line waiting
- 6 feet from any other parents waiting (either inside or outside)
- No chit chat 🙂 or verbal requests — email us instead for any questions. This is to minimize in-person interaction and also let our in-store staff focus on the dogs.
- Wear a mask (or other face covering if you don’t have access to a mask)
- What happens after check-in:
- We’ll slowly introduce your dog to the pack, and allow some time to settle in
- We’ll observe your dog in our pack setting for 1-2 hours, and call or email you with the outcome
- When you pick your dog up, request check out on your mobile phone via our member website when you arrive.
- While requesting check out, you will now be asked to confirm the mobile number where we can text you.
- The default number be your phone number on account. You can change it if needed.
- When we are about to bring your dog (or dogs) out, we will text you to tell you are up next.
- The contactless handoff will always be done inside, which is safer than on the street in case of a broken or loose collar.
- We still want to minimize chit-chat at this time; any questions/issues, email us as always!
