As a rescue dog, at first our pup was hesitant and not excited to head to daycare, but in just a couple of days, the staff made our dog comfortable.

What changes over time. Week by week, dogs build real social skills: reading other dogs, playing fair, settling down. Over months, you’ll see it at home and on the street. Many of our members have been with us for years, and their dogs have grown up here.

Since um we’ve started bringing Lahi to Happy Dogs, she’s so much friendlier to other dogs. So, we noticed that there’s no more leash activity.

Dinosaur was a rescue. He was very fearful of dogs of anybody. And then coming here, he’s really become acquainted with dogs and meeting up new people.

Regular, your way. Many dogs have their days: Tuesdays are Rosie’s, and Wednesdays and Fridays belong to Juniper, with friends there. Others come as the week allows, adding a day, moving one, or dropping in without booking. Your dog is a regular either way: known, welcomed, part of the group.

Easy on a busy week. We run a tight ship, open 7am to 8pm on weekdays and 8am to 6pm at weekends, so checking your dog in and out fits around your workday. And when it’s easier, we’ll come to you: door-to-door pick-up and drop-off, regularly or on the nights you’re running late.

Their day, in view. Our live cams are on all day, so you can look in on your dog anytime. It’s often where parents first see a side of their dog they never see at home: the friend they run to, the way they play, the calm that follows.

What we notice, you’ll notice. Our staff watch your dog all day, with skill and heart, and tell you what we see: a new friend, a change in energy. If their stomach is upset, we’ll send you a photo. We’ll get to know your dog together, visit by visit.

One carer to another. Looking after a dog is a privilege and a responsibility, and it’s one we share with you. When something’s new, a habit, a worry, a change, we’ll talk it through with you. We’re a family business, and this is the work we love.

Part of a community. Regular days mean familiar faces at the door, for your dog and for you. Members’ happy hours, pool parties and adoption days for local rescues bring our neighborhood together.

I have been able to see Ozzie’s confidence grow with other dogs in the past few months thanks to Happy Dogs LIC. When we first brought him we had to drag him into the building but now he walks in willingly and excitedly.
