2Why it happens

A trip means somebody else looking after your dog, and a plan that can fall through while you’re away. The reality is that each dog is unique and depending on your dog’s particular needs and preferences, the answer is very different.

When boarding, your dog is not alone and will have plenty of other pups to play with. This enjoyable stimulation can be a distraction, alleviating separation anxiety.

3What we do

• Boarders sleep in the room they played in, on a cot or in a pile of friends, never in a crate, with 24/7 on-site supervision.
• An email with photos and how they ate, every day they’re with us, and you can text us any time.
• Watch your dog live on mobile or desktop.

4What changes

The trip becomes something you plan, not something you dread.

I travel a lot and when I’m away, I don’t want to have to think twice about if Bella’s safe…I feel really comfortable taking her here.

I’m very nervous leaving our pup with anyone, but I never worry when he’s at Happy Dogs.

…after boarding he is so happy it seems like he had a vacation too!
