2Why it happens

Left alone, an anxious dog has one thing to do all day: notice you’re gone. Boredom and stress turn that into barking, chewing and licking. What helps is a calm day with other dogs and people who know how to settle them.

Anxious dogs need a calm pack where there is a clear leader in charge.

3What we do

• Every dog starts with a careful introduction to the group — not a free-for-all.
• We have skilled staff on site around the clock. No remote monitoring, day or night. Your dog is always with people paying attention.
• Boarders sleep in the room they played in, never in a crate, with 24/7 on-site supervision.
• At the door, you hand the leash to a pack leader and go. A short goodbye is easier on an anxious dog than a long one, and the room takes it from there.
• Watch your dog live on mobile or desktop.
• If it isn’t working, we tell you. A dog whose anxiety is very high can be the wrong fit for a room of other dogs, and we would rather say so early than let it go on.

4What changes

Not on the first day. Parents tell us it takes a week or two.
