Happy Dogs is great! They are very communicative and transparent, which makes me feel even more comfortable leaving my dog there. He can be a bit anxious when being in new places, but they take care of him and by the second visit he was pulling me to go to daycare!

Our dog is generally shy with new dogs, people, places but the folks at Happy Dogs have done a wonderful job of making him feel right at home!

Having a rescue with separation anxiety is pretty tough when it comes to dropping them off for extended stays and ensuring they are calm, safe and given the proper care. We are so happy that we found Happy Dog who does all of the above (getting to check in on the live cam is a huge plus as is their south side location for quiet weekday play). Highly recommend!

Happy Dogs has been a second home for my dogs for the past 9 years. They looked after my beloved Dachshund Henry from the time he was a young and peppy 7 years old until his very advanced age of 16 and a half. They always send me pictures when he was boarding and gave me daily updates on his days. As he aged they made sure he had a comfortable bed to rest and plenty of quiet space to pace around. They have been equally diligent and dedicated to my dog Sid, a rescue that came with lots of anxiety and quickly developed a great level of comfort for his day care and affection for the staff that works there. His first time back after the pandemic shut down, he was howling when he saw the door open. I would unconditionally recommend Happy Dogs to anyone who is looking for quality care for their pups.

Happy Dogs on Mccarren Park are a great team and so attentive to all of our puppy’s needs. They are extremely responsive both of email and texts through the day every time I want an update for how my pup is doing. The staff are all so friendly and we feel very comfortable leaving her there the full 8-10hours whilst we both work. We also use their grooming service and they did such a great job on her first cut - stuck to the brief/picture perfectly. Thanks again team!

My 7 month old puppy is absolutely obsessed with Happy Dogs! It is so fun to watch him play with the other dogs on the live cam and get pics of him after most daycare visits. We are very happy!

Happy Dogs is an incredible place for our puppy! Happy Dogs has been a dream come true for our little Lucy! She was a very tiny puppy when she started (4 month old CKCS) and she has the time of her life at Happy Dogs! The staff clearly cares about all dogs there and she is always overjoyed to run in when we drop her off in the morning. The staff even sends cute pictures of her, and is very communicative about her as well. Couldn’t recommend more!!

Our 1.5-year-old border collie/pittie mix, Maggie, has been coming to Happy Dogs since she was a puppy and loves it. We originally checked it out thanks to a neighbor’s recommendation, and now multiple dogs on our block are part of the Happy Dogs pack. There are normally a number of dogs staying at the facility, so as long as your dog is comfortable with that level of activity, they’ll have a big day and sleep soundly. (Maggie is a social, energetic gal, so she’s thrilled to get to play with other dogs all day.) It’s a tightly run ship, with an easy-to-use booking system and clear (and strict!) rules that keep things running smoothly. We’re happy to have a location in the neighborhood.

Happy Dogs is a lifesaver. We tried a couple doggy daycares, but this was the one my PUP chose, not me. I knew Happy Dogs was perfect for Beans the first time I saw him run toward the door, dragging me along because he was just so happy to be back at daycare -- something he’d never done before. I love that there are always lots of dogs, that I can peek in on Beans using their puppy spycam, and that he can also be bathed there. The staff is helpful, attentive, and always responds in a timely fashion to my emails and silly comments when I drop beans off. They have social distancing protocols in place and the overall energy is great. So so grateful that my high-energy puppy has a great home away from home.

I came across Happy Dogs at McCarren Park daycare a little over a month ago when we needed someone to watch our puppy for a day and the only family members willing to do it, were more than a few hours away. At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect, I had never left Coco at a daycare and right away I was surprised at the very user friendly website. Because of COVID, the entire process is contactless and I thought that was going to be a bit difficult because I am the type to walk into a place, get a feel for the environment, customer service is very important to me and I also wanted to make sure our baby was going to be safe. Not difficult at all, I loved that you have to fill out a questionnaire and sign waivers of all their policies and procedures, everything I had a question about, was explained in detail. So once registered, I had to drop off Coco for a behavior assessment, that was nerve racking because our baby is still a puppy and while we have been training her, she can be rambunctious and too energetic for some. But she pulled through and within an hour, we heard that she was part of the pack and we could start using the facility. One of my favorite features of leaving her there for the day, is the live cam that I can check out from my phone at any time. It’s been over a month that we’ve been leaving her there at least once per week and she always comes back so happy and exhausted (so good for us on busy days or when it’s too cold outside for dog walks). We are very happy with the service and plan to continue bringing her there for the foreseeable future. Everyone is very responsive and friendly, the place looks very clean from the live cam and it’s packed - which is a great way to socialize the pups. Definitely recommend it!

We are so grateful for Happy Dogs! They take excellent care of my puppy and are very responsive, organized and easy to schedule/coordinate with. Maya basically drags us to Happy Dogs every time we head over for a drop off... she can’t get enough of her doggie pals and really loves the place. It’s also been an excellent way to socialize her during this time of quarantine. They have a user portal for easy check in & scheduling, as well as a doggy cam so you can check in on your pup. Happy Dogs takes great care of our puppy, and she comes back exhausted and happy. Thank you!!!

We bring our dog here for both daycare and boarding. He has a great time and always comes back safe, healthy, and tired! The communication from the staff before, during, and after our dog is with them is excellent.

Happy Dogs is the best! It’s our favorite place in the neighborhood to take our little doggy; he has the best time and loves the team. They’re warm, communicative, professional, and take great care of our pup whether for daycare or boarding.

We have often had Dale go to Happy Dogs for daycare and boarding, including a recent trip where he went to the brand new McCarren Park facilities. I wanted to say how much I appreciate the care of the Happy Dogs team. A few months ago, Dale got sick about a week after boarding. We contacted the facility to see if any other dogs had been sick. While they did not have any notice of other dogs being ill, they frequently texted to see how Dale’s recovery was going.

My dog loves happy dogs. He goes there for daycare (on occasion) and boarding every time I’m out of town. The team there is knowledgeable and professional. I know my dog is well taken care of while we are away. Thanks happy dogs!

We used Happydogs for boarding a couple times a while back at their Brooklyn location and was very happy with the service, but it wasn’t a convenient a location for us. When they opened the LIC location for boarding we started up again and our pup loves it there! When we pull up out front, he can’t wait to get out. Great service, nice daily updates, and happy dogs!

We love our little Yorkies very much and when we travel, it was difficult to leave them behind. But, we found Happy Dogs at McCarren park, and they are amazing at keeping our kiddos happy and contained. On our return, we found our dogs well fed and in very good shape. They even have a cam set up so we can see the dogs on our iPhone or laptop wherever we are. Love this place!

We love our bernedoodle, Ryleigh! It is always so hard leaving her when we go on vacation or don’t have time to give her a lot of attention on days both my husband and I are very busy at work. Happy dogs has totally changed that for us! They make it super easy to schedule daycare and boarding. Ryleigh always has a wonderful time! You can also request a bathat the end of your pups stay so they come home smelling super fresh and clean! We love happy dogs at McCarren Park!

My dogs used daycare and boarded here many times. We recently moved out of the area and I have a yet to find a suitable doggie daycare. One big reason why Happy Dogs McCarren Park outshines almost all other doggie daycares is because there are cameras installed so you can watch your dog on line. They are VERY transparent. I knew someone who owns a boarding/doggie daycare facility and she told me don’t even bother looking or reading reviews on a place unless they have cameras installed that allow owners to see what is going on. She said a lot of of things can go on “behind the walls” unless there is total totally transparency with cameras. There were plenty of other “great” day care’s closer to me but I went further away because Happy Dogs had cameras. Unfortunately we moved away and the closest day care near me now is 1 hour away! Oh well! But For those of you in the NYC area, I strongly recommend Happy Dogs.

My pup Tela loves going to Happy Dogs at McCarren Park! We’ve sent her to daycare and boarded her here several times now and we couldn’t be happier with how they care for Tela and their transparency. We loved getting the pupdates daily when we were on vacation with pictures to know that our furchild was being looked after and having the best time. She’s gotten sick at daycare before and the staff was so thorough, we got pictures and several updates with how she was doing. There was another time they noticed a scratch on her (which we already knew of from the dog park) and they emailed us letting us know with pictures. They also monitor play really well here, it’s so nice to know she’s getting a lot of high-quality socialization with dogs of all shapes and sizes when she goes to daycare. I Highly recommend Happy Dogs!

My dog takes part in daily day care at happy dogs as well as boarding from time to time due to my late work hours. She has the best time and her tail starts wagging the second she turns onto their street. She comes home ready for a full nights sleep. Happy dogs had a camera so you can watch your pup during the day. They also have an awesome pick up and drop off service, which we used most days and loved. So grateful for the happy dogs community and everything they do for Charlie and I!

HappyDogs has been a life saver for me and my husband. Not only we drop our dog there 4 days a week for daycare but also we have used boarding when a relative passed away and we had to rush to Europe. It was so comforting having them taking care of my pup during that tough time. My dog loves going there, he pulls on the leash and can’t wait to get inside. I love that I can watch him on the webcam during the day and I can see there’s always someone with the dogs and they are very fast to intervene and clean. Happy dogs has really helped socializing my dog. They are also very attentive to dogs health and I believe they really care.

Our dog Lulu loves Happy Dogs! We take her at least 3 times per week and she is always so happy to go and see her friends. She always comes home tired from all of the fun she has! We have used them for overnights as well and she loves those as well. HDs is so convenient and they always send us great updates - the communication has been very easy.

Mike loves this place. The intro package was an unbelievable deal, and he was quickly accustomed to a few visits a week. The staff are truly so kind, and the ability to view Mike on the webcam for a quick check-in during the day put me at ease for his first few visits. They also gave him a perfect haircut.

They take such great care of my dog! He actually pulls on the leash when we’re nearby and whenever I check the cameras he looks happy and taken care of.

We have been sending our family dogs to Happy Dogs for a decade! We have loved that the dogs are not crated at night but sleep together in the same room and also that we get to see them on the doggy cam and get updates on how they are doing each day. Nala and Ziggy love it :-)

My dog, Blue, LOVES Happy Dogs!! He does 2-3 days a week while I’m in the office and I can trust he always safe, having fun and getting good exercise. The live cams are an added layer of fun, I can check in see what he is doing. Their notes on his eating and bathroom schedule throughout the day are helpful as well. I am super happy and impressed with this place. I feel like my fur baby is safe and happy. He truly loves it and it makes my life easier. There was a cheaper route but quality and safety is top priority for me. Other places didn’t make me feel at peace leaving him alone with other dogs. I can check in on him at anytime through their live camera and nothing beats that! It’s conveniently located and easy pick up and drop off!

Our dog is very happy! We just moved to the area and were in search of a new doggy day care because our dog loves to play with other furry friends. We love that we have access to the dog cam and all of the pictures they take of our dog while she’s there. This location also has a small out door space and when the weather is nice the dogs can go freely in and out.

my dog goes to the waterfront location and absolutely loves it. Pack leaders are always there and watching the pack, assuring that play is friendly and fun, while not being rambunctious or wild where things can escalate. I watch on the camera and if my girl wants to play or rest, she always comes home “happy” and not anxious from dogs jumping uncontrollably everywhere. I pack her food and know she knows all the pack leaders there & love when they have events there that bring all the dog moms/dads together in a fun environment:)

I am very happy with my experience. Staff knows how to properly handle dogs and the team is extremely responsive to requests. I have a large mastiff and many places I’ve tried are scared to have him because of his size even though he is extremely kind. In addition to a full day of daycare- Mac was groomed, had nails trimmed (finally correctly! ) and ears cleaned. I can rest confidently knowing I have a responsive place to watch my dog

My dog Kobe is afraid of everything! He is extremely anxious going outside and at dog parks he just wants to stay right next to me. However, he LOVES Happy Dogs! We’ve been taking our toy poodle here for a few months now. Their staff is amazing. I’ve really seen an improvement in my dog’s anxiety around other dogs. I like that I can watch him via the webcam. The check in/check out process is easy. They’ve really helped when I’ve been in a bind and have to come late or need to board him. Responsive, professional, and I truly feel comfortable leaving my dog in their care.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Happy Dogs. I have been sending my little man to 3 of their locations over the past 4+ years, since he was just 4 months old, and both of us could not love it more. The staff is extremely friendly and respectful. They are very responsive and accommodating, especially at the beginning when I was a nervous new dog mom and peppered them with questions constantly. Everyone at every location knows him by name and he runs to them, tail wagging, every time I drop him off. It has been so transformative for him to be able to spend a day socializing with other dogs in the company of such caring staff. They are very attentive and I feel so at ease knowing they are taking such good care of my little guy. I’m not sure how I would get by without Happy Dogs!

Our dog loves Happy Dogs! She’s always pulling to go in when we turn on the block. We take her 1-2 days a week. She’s a puppy and so it helps tire her out for the following day. The team is all really nice. I love that you can check in on the camera throughout the day. Highly recommend.

Winnie Pickles loves Happy Dogs- they take such good care of her on our vacations that it really eases our minds while away. We even come up from Boerum Hill because we love the Mcarren location for boarding so much!

My pup absolutely loves it here and I trust his judgement. He pulls in the direction of Happy Dogs whenever we’re near and can’t wait to get inside to play. The front area staff is always lovely when we check in and out and very personable. I can see him playing happily on the live cams and even napping comfortably when worn out. Love having them so close and my pup highly recommends!

At this point, it’s hard to imagine any better doggie daycare. Our dog, Olive, has been going to their daycare for the past ~8 months between 3-5 times a week while we’re at work. They have a wide open play area where the dogs socialize and run around as much as they want all day. They have a live video stream for you to be able to check in on how they’re doing at any point while they are there. A few times Olive has gotten sick while there and the staff emailed us immediately and took a picture so that we had it to reference for our vet whenever necessary. I trust them completely to watch her all day and keep her safe and happy. We’ve also boarded her for a weekend before and seeing her be able to stay in that wide open area with the other dogs is so much better than her having to stay in a crate at any point!

My dog is always thrilled to go to Happy Dogs. I get it. The staff is very friendly and there are always plenty of happy dogs to play with. I truly feel like my dog is in good hands with this team. She cut herself at the park once prior to her drop-off. The team quickly alerted me when she started bleeding at daycare. They bandaged her up and took pictures alerting me to the issue. The staff is always quick to answer emails or accommodate last minute requests. I’m so thankful Happy Dogs is in my neighborhood.

My dog Yoshi and I are so happy to be a part of the Happy Dog family! The staff are so attentive to him and are always sending updates to let us know how he is doing with the pack. They even send us photos of Yoshi, which are such treats to receive in the middle of the day. Yoshi never wants to leave. We couldn’t be more appreciative of everyone at Happy Dogs!

We’ve been using Happy Dogs for awhile now and it’s been a good experience! We think our dog has responded well to going to regular daycare, and the handlers seem nice. I like that they have cameras to watch, and they are extremely responsive via email! They answer so quickly it is very helpful.

Both myself and my dog Demi LOVE happy dogs. We have been using Happy Dogs for daycare for almost a year now. My dog goes Monday-Friday and gets her baths there. There are many reasons I feel very comfortable leaving my dog with them so often: 1. There is a short application process where your dog comes in for a session to see how they are with the rest of the “pack.” Sounds silly, but I like knowing that my dog won’t be annoyed all day by an overly aggressive dog all day. 2. Their customer service is excellent. If you email them, the email you right back. If you have a question (did my dog eat? Are they going to the bathroom etc) they know the answer. If there is any issue with the dog during the day, a scratch, diarrhea etc, they clean her up, send you a picture and let you know about it. (TMI with the diarrhea pics but I’d rather know about it lol). 3. I know my dog likes it there for 2 reasons. a.) If I am home when the Happy Dogs employee picks her up in the morning she is happy to go with them and wagging her tail. b.) Through the watching window, I have seen her enter the daycare room, all the dogs great her, she’s wagging her tail and seems very at home and comfortable. 4. She comes home smelling clean and not covered in pee stains (like the first terrible place we went). 5. If you want, you can watch your dog online. I did that as an overprotective parent for about a week or so but haven’t felt the need to watch it since. You can also see that they clean up the pee and poo immediately. 6. Finally, they take the cutest pictures of your dog and post them on their Facebook page. I feel like I know the other “kids in her class.” 7. They are open 7 days a week and offer pickup and drop off service. I truly haven’t had one negative experience with Happy Dogs and I am the first to admit I am very picky with who watches my dog and how she is treated. I know there are choices when choosing a day care, I wouldn’t have any qualms about choosing Happy Dogs!

I’ve been taking my dog to Happy Dog’s for a little over 2 month and it’s been excellent. The staff is very helpful and are receptive to any requests, they let me know immediately if there are any issues and include pictures, and are also friendly and no nonsense. My dog leaves day care happy and is exhausted when he gets home. Would definitely recommend this place for not only the awesome communication, but the affordable pricing that’s very competitive amongst other dog day care’s in New York.

Shay absolutely loves Happy Dogs!! Whenever we go to daycare, she runs inside! I feel extremely comfortable leaving Shay here especially since Shay loves it so much and there are cameras if I need to see her while I’m away. The only thing I wish I knew when I first signed up is Happy dogs communicates via email which was an adjustment for me however, they always respond in a timely manner. They take great care of my pup! The price is a great value too! I go here weekly.

Its been a pleasure sending my dog to this day care. They truly care for their dogs and do thorough background checks on each dog that comes into the facility. I usually send my dog once a week and he’s always thrilled to go. An added bonus is peeking in on the dogs on the camera video which always brings a smile to my face on a stressful day. The staff truly cares about each dog and genuinely seem happy to be there. The prices are more than affordable and have a different payment plans.

I have brining my dog to Happy Dogs Waterfront since the summertime and have been very pleased with the daycare provided. They are open until 8pm which is super helpful since I work long hours, and I love that there is a camera so that I am able to check in on her during the day. They also feed her lunch for no additional fee and have a great 15 pack daycare package that I purchase which also includes a free bath. I highly recommend this location if you want a new daycare for your dog in Williamsburg.

My pup Hazelnut loves happy dogs. This is the 3rd location I’ve taken her to and I’ve always had a good experience with the staff and set up at each location. Everyone is very nice and I love that you’re able to watch them on the live cam throughout the day.

I’ve been sending my pup to this location since they opened a few months ago, and it’s been amazing. The staff are very friendly and professional, it’s great to be able to watch the dogs on camera, and Mia always comes home super happy and tired.

My dog loves coming to Happy Dogs! She pulls me towards the door whenever we walk by. I’m also a big fan of their hours. Many dog daycare places close too early for my schedule.

My frenchie always has a great time at Happy Dogs, to the point where whenever she leaves the house, she always tries to tug in its direction to go back. Great dogs, great company, and pretty good prices for the neighborhood. Never had any problems and we always appreciate the treats.

The employees seem to really care about the dogs. They always remember our dog’s name when he walks in, and seem very excited to see him. Most importantly, *he* clearly is excited about going to Happy Dogs. Whenever we are on a walk nearby he pulls toward their location, and when I drop him off he trots happily in with them.

These guys are just awesome. Our little guy loves going to Happy Dogs and the staff are always super friendly and you can tell they really care about every single one of the dogs here. I am also secure in the fact that they carefully monitor the dogs when they play and allow playful interaction but are right on it and don’t allow things to get rough. My little pup comes home absolutely exhausted from a day at Happy Dogs, exhausted and happy :)

We love happy dogs, the staff is great and the owners are really kind and friendly. They do a great job with our baby Jersey. We’ve been taking her here for nearly 2 years and she absolutely loves it. She looks forward to it like a day with friends AND she never comes home smelling like pee, which is something we’ve struggled with in the past with other doggy day care places. I absolutely love this place! I’ve only taken my 4 month puppy, Teddy, here once so far but will definitely be returning. Teddy was extremely timid when I’ve brought him to the dog park originally. However, after 1 full day at Happy Dogs, his confidence grew tremulously and now when I take him to the dog park he loves to play with all the dogs and sniff around! This is a great place to teach your dog socialization and how to “be” and act around other dogs. Definitely coming back! Also the live cam is definitely a plus!

Happy Dogs has been wonderful! They provide frequent check ins for us on our Shih Tzu puppy, and their handlers are very experienced. We can tell that our puppy loves it there and does not seem at all stressed or nervous. They are very reasonably priced and are open for long hours that accommodate both of our schedules. This is the best dog care and boarding service in the area. Their logistics work like clock work, the team truly takes good care of the puppies and dogs. My 1yr old puppy comes home happy, well worked and stimulated and i think have even started behaving better at home. Cannot recommend Happy Dogs enough. Every member of the staff brings the utmost level of care to my dog. I started bringing my golden retriever to daycare when she was a puppy and had just received all of her vaccinations. From day one, I trusted my golden with Happy Dogs based on their daily updates and photos letting me know how everything is going. Like all puppies, there have been instances where she’s gotten sick or played too hard (scratching her cornea the first day of daycare), or even had an allergic reaction while at boarding. The staff kept me constantly updated and made me feel so comfortable that my pup couldn’t be in better hands. On top of that, she comes home absolutely exhausted after playing with her friends. There was even an instance where following a bath, she rolled around in dog poop and the staff emailed letting me know they would give her another bath on the house. This place is really something else. We love happy dogs!!

We’ve been taking our puppy here since she received all her shots and she loves it and we do too. She loves the people and all the playtime with the other pups. We love how attentive the staff is, how genuinely they care for our pup, and how proactive they are (whether she lost a tooth or threw up, they’re all over it). All in all, it has been a great experience!

We absolutely love bringing our Shiba Callie to see all her friends at Happy Dogs! The staff are unbelievably friendly and supportive and the updates we get from them when we leave Callie overnight or for a weekend really give us peace of mind. My dog has always had a positive experience at Happy Dogs. I can’t walk down that block on days she isn’t going or she pulls me to the door and waits! She does daycare a few days a week and she has boarded here several times. Everyone is pleasant and they make the drop off and pick up super easy!

Zetty loves to “go to school” aka Happy Dogs! We take her here for both boarding and day care and she’s always excited to see the staff when we drop her off. You are able to see how your dog is doing during the time your dog is in day care (but cameras will close when day care closes). It’s pretty nice to have access to view this so you can check on your pup when you miss them or see how the staff treats all the pups (if you’re a worried first time pup parent like we were). I appreciate the staff and how caring they are to our pups! Around the holidays, our sweet pup Zetty got wounded on the snout by another dog and they immediately called us to let us know about the situation and kept us updated throughout the day and during our time boarding Zetty. I was definitely vocal on my concerns with the dog that bit her since it was a big bite wound and the staff ensured the dog would be supervised and put on probation if they reacted like that with another dog. [FYI this place has a behavioral test for the dog to be allowed here so chances of your dog being injured are very slim]. But the reason why I note this injury update is that this team goes above and beyond to make sure our pup is okay. Even after a few days after Zetty’s dog boarding they checked back which I really appreciated a ton. Zetty has been back at Happy Dogs and still wags her tail when she’s arrived in front of their entrance! Also we love the pupdates we receive from Happy Dogs (attached)! We get these from our boarding days and both Josh and I have a collection of Happy Dog pupdates on our phone!

Happy Dogs has been a great option for both day care and boarding. My dog loves her time there and I always pick her up happy. The staff at Happy Dogs are always responsive when you get in touch, and are quick to accommodate your requests. The hours both during the week and on the weekend, make it a flexible option for anything that may come up.

Baloo, our Wheaten Terrier, LOVES Happy Dogs! She’s been going there for almost a year and pulls us to their door every morning. She plays with the other dogs so nicely and is comfortable to nap and eat there. I love that Happy Dogs emails us with updates and photos of Baloo, and lets us know that she’s happy when she boards there. The staff are great, clearly all love animals, are friendly and always pleased to see Baloo. We’re so lucky we found such great day care for our pup so close to our apartment. Thank you Happy Dogs!

Happy Dogs is a reliable and responsible choice for boarding our dog when we are away. I like having the webcam so that I can check up on our dog when I’m away from her. She enjoys a long day of romping around with her friends, and I enjoy a day of seeing pics of how much fun she’s having. I’ve been grateful to the Happy Dogs team for taking such good care of her and always keeping in touch with me about how her day is going. They make the onboarding/pick up/drop off process super seamless, offer good prices, and stellar doggy care. They also gave her a bath and it was the cleanest she has ever been.

Happy Dogs is the BEST in the business! The gold standard for NYC. They truly care about the dogs and treat them like their own. My dog Wilson has been going for multiple times a week for 2 years and have never had any issues whatsoever. Owners and staff are really great people. Very spacious, clean, well staffed, responsible, caring... everything you’d want in a daycare. Pick ups, drop offs, walks, live cam access, baths - all services offered, and at very reasonable prices considering the level of care. 10/10 would recommend!

My dog, Thor, has been coming here for 2 years and he pulls me to the door whenever we get close. This is a wonderful daycare where the people are sweet, always texting us photos of Thor (see the most recent one they sent us) and I love that I can check in on Thor via video to see how he’s doing. Their prices are great, very affordable and Thor has many neighborhood friends here too. It’s such a great place for him to be, especially when I’m too busy to take him out to use up some of his puppy energy. Daycare coma is real! It’s fantastic to be able to have him come home so happy (and tired). And they always have such fun events. Just this last summer, they hosted a pool party. They have photo events. And often, they send us home with a magnetic photo of Thor to put on our fridge. We’re so lucky we live near here and Thor can go to Happy Dogs!

We absolutely love Happy Dogs! They are organized, caring and transparent! Their live cam allows us to see in real time what the doggies are up to and gives us a great sense of security knowing he is in good hands and having fun.

I like being able to see my dog while looking at the cameras. He’s been to many daycares before and when I took him out for a walk (because I work nearby) he seemed quite excited to go back in, which to me says a lot!

I’ve been bringing my dog to Happy Dogs on 23rd St for a little over a year now and have had really positive experiences so far. My dog gets so excited to go and I love that I can watch him on the cameras to see how much fun he’s having! One of the best parts about Happy Dogs is the staff. They are extremely accommodating and helpful. There have been a few occasions where I’ve had questions about my account/subscriptions or last minute was late to pick him up and they were very understanding and helpful. Not to mention, they’ve taken some of my favorite photos of my dog (seriously...I’ve printed them out)! If you have a high energy dog like me- you’ll love that when you bring them home after having spent a few hours at Happy Dogs they’re exhausted and immediately fall asleep :)

My dog attends Happy Dogs on 23rd and 1st and we have had an excellent experience overall. The intro deal is a great value and allowed us to test out the daycare. The management is very communicative and responsive. The staff is kind and when I left something at the daycare I immediately got an email letting me know they were holding on to it. Great service!

We were waiting for our mini dachshund Romeo to get neutered before taking him to Happy Dogs. Now that he is 1 years old and has been neutered, we finally decided to try the daycare, and we have been so impressed. The owner Jen gave us a detailed tour ahead of Romeo’s temperament evaluation, and she answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable. From the very first day Romeo visited for a full day of day care, we have been so happy with the staff and know Romeo gets a full day of play and enrichment with his pals - coming home exhausted. He now comes regularly at least 1x a week. We know Romeo loves it here because even when we walk by and aren’t dropping him off, he charges towards the door because he can’t wait to return. Throughout the day, we’ll even check the camera and see Romeo playing with or resting with other dogs. The daycare gets busy, but the staff is on top of it and laser-focused on the pups. So long as we’re in the area and continue to have this great experience, Romeo will continue to be a pack member at Happy Dogs and we would enthusiastically recommend it here.

My dog Teddy loves coming to happy dogs for daycare. Hes always dragging me down the street to get there in the morning. The staff is very responsive over email and always gives us a heads up if there is something going on in terms of events/other dogs that may have been sick at the same time.

Like so many reviews on here - I cant rave enough about Happy dogs! Our dog loves going there - and she comes home happy and exhausted - which we love. The staff are responsive and helpful. The webcam is a great feature - lets me see how our pup is doing and helps when I need a little pick-me-up at work as well. A friend recommended I go to Happy Dogs - and I *still* think her for the recommendation almost a year later!

Happy Dogs at 23rd and 1st is, simply put, astounding. From their expert usage of proper pack handling techniques, to how they care for their human customers, Happy Dogs continues to exceed my expectations. Our pup thoroughly loves his friends at Happy Dogs - both K9 and human, alike. He is a calm, relatively lazy soul, but whenever “daycare” is mentioned, he beams with excitement and energy. On the way to Happy Dogs, he desperately urges us to walk as quickly as possibly; he cannot wait to play with his buddies! Leaving Happy Dogs is an entirely different story. He is so euphorically exhausted that it is now US that have to do the pulling to get him home. For the next ~3 days, he will be “daycare hungover” and do nothing but sleep. The staff at Happy Dogs is exceptional in their email response time to any questions, comments, or concerns we might have. It is quite evident how much they genuinely care for their customers and their pups.

My pup Sage has been going to Happy Dogs 1/week for about 2 months now, and we both love it! She gets crazy excited when we walk through their door, and is always exhausted from playing when I pick her up. They have great customer service, answering all my questions, quickly responding to inquiries, and having a livestream that can be watched during the day. I’m at totally at ease when I bring my pup to daycare there, knowing she is in good hands and having fun!

Hands down this place is amazing. When we first started leaving our dog there we were a little skeptical because they do not let the dogs go crazy and run around. After our dog got mauled at another day care (which you can see the reviews and pics in my profile) I realized why Happy dogs technique works. This is a place where your dog can go and be safe and learn to socialize with other dogs. You can leave your dog here and have piece of mind that she/he will come back to you at the end of the day better behaved than when you left them there.

Our dog Cosmo absolutely loves coming to happy dogs. He pulls us there (even if he isn’t going to daycare that day). It’s great being able to check in on him on the camera. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. We recommend happy dogs to all our dog owning neighbors always.

They have a great 3 day punchcard to start off with where they do an assessment to make sure your dog fits in the group. Super responsive and they have good deals after as well. Offering daycare, boarding and even grooming it is super convenient. The cameras let you watch your dog while they are there as well.

Our baby girl Daphne is new to Happy Dogs. Our experiences with their team have been wonderful so far! They made the onboarding process super easy, have fair prices, and are very responsive. Daphne LOVES attending daycare, and I love getting lots of photos throughout the day of how much fun she is having.

The online check in & check out process is very smooth, the fact that the dogs are tucked away from the viewing public is also a help to keep them less stressed! Timothy loves his midweek visit & of course the bonus departing treats which are typically given out on his Free Friday.

Our dog Finn loves Happy Dogs! On his walk there he can barely contain his excitement. He always leaves happy and exhausted. The location is convenient and the ability to check on him throughout the day and the option for baths comes in clutch!

The staff are all great with the dogs and they have a nice outdoor space for them to play. The behavioral assessment gives a piece of mind and they have lots of packages to fit any needs for daycare or boarding. The cameras to watch your dog play throughout the stay is great too!

Happy Dogs on 23rd and 1st has been such a great find for us. My dog Simon absolutely loves it there. The moment he realizes we’re heading that way he practically drags me to the door, tail going the whole time. The staff are wonderful with the dogs and it’s clear they really care about making sure everyone is safe, engaged, and having fun. I have been very pleased with Happy Dogs on 1st avenue. I appreciated the tour of the location with Jen where all of my questions were answered and I allowed me to see the staff in action. The starter packs provides a low investment opportunity to try both day care and boarding. I was nervous about day care as my pup is a teacup and gets nervous around groups of dogs. But the staff helped ease her into the environment. And I appreciate how they alternate her time between the tiny dog area and the general area based on her energy level and mood!

My dog attended Happy Dogs when he was young and energetic, and he always came home so happy, and so tired! Now that he is older, we have been doing shorter Happy Dogs visits, and he drags me up the street to get there. He loves the staff there and his dog friends.

When my girlfriend and I were adopting our dog Leo we asked the folks at the rescue if they recommended any doggy daycares we could look at for Leo when we both had to be in the office, and without hesitating they told us to check Happy Dog NYC & that they wee a great operation with numerous locations. We looked then up and saw they had a nearby location at 23rd & 1st in Manhattan; they not only offered Leo a free day of daycare after passing the mandatory behavioral assessment, but also had great promotional pricing for his first 3 daycare visits. Their staff is very responsive, and are genuinely caring & thoughtful with your pet. Our little guy always looks forward to visiting his friends at Happy Dog daycare and we feel good knowing that he will be safe and taken care of during his time there. Cannot recommend enough!

The team at Happy Dog did such a great job with their assessment, making sure both parties are suited for each other. They helped my dog adjust to the new environment very quickly. My boyfriend and I have boarded our husky at Happy Dogs LIC for a few times now and we are very pleased with the outcome. Our husky has separation anxiety, but he returns more calm after each visit. We are able to keep check on him if he is boarding overnight, and any questions that we have are promptly answered by the staff. We have full confidence and peace of mind with Happy Dogs, highly recommend!

Archer is a 5 year old Siberian Husky. I got him when he was 8 weeks old. He has separation anxiety as he was a quarantine pup. Prior to finding Happy Dogs, the previous facility tried everything possible to accommodate him. We realized over time that his anxiety only grew as he did not like kennels. It got to a point where Archer would try to get out of the kennels and end up hurting himself in the process. The owner of the previous establishment eventually said “Archer’s a great dog but I can’t have him here anymore, it’s for his own safety and I do not want to give him trazodone or gabapentin to calm his anxiety when he is clearly not happy here.” We took everything we knew (Archer loved being around humans, archer loved other dogs, Archer did not like other dogs barking constantly while in a closed environment, Archer did not like kennels). With all of this context and thoroughly searching, we found Happy Dogs. Not only did Happy Dog’s boarding provide a human around at all times during daycare but also at night when all the dogs slept. There was no kennel, and all the dogs looked very stress free. They also mentioned they give access to their security camera so you can watch your pup, 30 minutes every day from opening until sleeping hours (after 5 PM) i didn’t even know such a service existed! They also send daily photos, updates and are always available through their chat/ email We put him in boarding through their complimentary package to see how he would do, he was ecstatic! They also gave him a bath at the end as we opt for a bath at the end of a long boarding. Since then we have boarded Archer for 2 weeks and he has progressively not only gotten better in his location based separation anxiety when not in boarding. I have been taking my dog, Mungo, to Happy Dogs for about six months now. At the beginning, he was a bit shy, but the staff and other pups meant he was soon eager to get inside every time he was being dropped off. It’s very flexible in terms of bookings and cancellations, which is great as my work schedule changes fairly frequently. The video stream is another nice feature for peace of mind. Communication is also good - emails are answered quickly and comprehensively.

My pup absolutely loves it here! He’s has separation anxiety and this is the only place I can leave him where he just doesn’t care that I’m gone. He literally loses his mind with excitement when we arrive and tries to go back inside when I pick him up!

So grateful for Happy Dogs! My puppy recently started daycare and he gets so excited to go every time. The staff is wonderful, and I have complete peace of mind when I’m at the office knowing he’s happy and safe. Highly recommend! I love receiving updates about the friends he is making.

I absolutely adore Happy Dogs and think it’s the best value day care in the area. They care for my pup like he’s their own and he’s been going there since he was 4 months old! They have the cutest little photo shoots and keep the owners updated with videos and status updates - my puppy lost two teeth because he was teething and they were thoughtful enough to even save his teeth for me to keep! We enrolled our puppy Aspen at Happy Dogs when he was just 3 months old and it’s been his favorite place since! The staff is so sweet and responsive. They provide updates on how Aspen is doing throughout the day and if anything out of the ordinary ever happens. Aspen truly loves it at Happy Dogs and is always rushing to get inside and play with his friends!!

My pup has been a member of the pack since he was a few months old. He loves going a few days a week and I feel a sense of relief when I drop him off because I know he is in the most caring hands. They provide updates throughout the day if my dog spits up or plays a little too rough. They also have great events to meet the employees and other dog parents! Location couldn’t be more convenient, and they open as early as 7am and stay open until 8 on weekdays. I highly recommend Happy Dogs!

I feel so happy having happy dogs in the neighborhood. Our 4 month old puppy enjoys going to daycare, and comes home wiped out after a day of fun with her friends. Love seeing them play on the live camera. 5 stars!!

My little Cocoa absolutely loves going to Happy dogs. It’s such a great way for her to socialize, play, and practice/apply those social cues that they can only learn from being around other dogs, but in a controlled environment. I would recommend this place 1000 times over. I use them for daycare and boarding, and the staff is so friendly and great with the dogs.

We have been bringing our 1.5-year-old Bernedoodle, Jasper, here for both boarding and daycare, and we truly cannot imagine taking him anywhere else. From the moment he arrives, it’s clear how excited he is to be there. What stands out most is how much the staff genuinely care about the dogs. They strike the perfect balance between being affectionate and loving while also providing structure and correcting behaviors when needed. It’s reassuring to know Jasper is not only having fun but is also in a place that maintains good routines and expectations. Communication with the staff has always been excellent—quick, clear, and very responsive whenever we have questions or need updates. Knowing Jasper is in such capable and caring hands gives us complete peace of mind. We’re so grateful to have found a place that treats him like family.

They accommodate her medicine and dietary needs, and I love that the dogs are not in crates overnight and that they are supervised 24/7. It gives me so much peace of mind when I’m away that my dog is in great hands. We have had a great experience with Happy Dogs and we recommend them for both daycare and boarding. The live cams are great and enable us to check on our pup, and we can see that there is always plenty of staff taking care of the dogs and keeping the space clean. They are very responsive over text or email and keep us updated on his behavior and eating habits.

Happy Dogs has become our go-to Sunday daycare for my pup, Luca. Their hours are super convenient, especially for weekend plans, and Luca always comes home happily tired in the best way. What really impressed me was how attentive they were when Luca lost a tooth there — they actually kept the tooth for me, emailed me to let me know, and then mentioned it again in person at pickup. That level of communication and care made me feel like they really pay attention to each dog as an individual. I feel very comfortable leaving Luca with them and really appreciate how thoughtful and professional the team is.

My boys absolutely loved Happy Dogs. We used their services when visiting family in New York and it was so nice to check in on our mutts throughout the day via webcam. We’d also get pics throughout the day. The staff was so accommodating and easy to communicate with, especially when we wanted to add a last minute bath. We’ll be using their services again!

We heard good things about Happy Dogs for daycare and set up a walk through with the owner. We were grateful for the detailed one on one attention about their facilities, they way they work with dogs, and all the options the offer the pups. We’ve had our pup attend daycare a few days and he’s eager to run into the room in the morning and begin playing immediately. He comes home tired and happy. We add a walk to our pups day for a very small extra charge. They offer many other extras as well. If you need to use their other sites in Brooklyn or Manhattan, as a member you can. They are VERY communicative which I appreciate and respond to emails promptly. As long as my pup is happy, I am happy.

Happy Dogs are very transparent with their rules and how they deal with dogs. Very responsive via email and they have a portal that you can easily manage your dog’s packages. The staff are efficient and friendly. I started to teach them some tricks that my dog knows and they’ve been helping me reinforce them during day care. I really love that they remember.

Love using Happy Dogs in LIC! They make me feel calm that my dogs are being well looked after & I love the fact that they’re super communicative and will send end of the day picture updates of our pups! Moved to the area recently and was recommended Happy Dogs by someone at a nearby dog park. My dogs been going there for a couple months now and the team there is great. Super communicative, let me know days when she doesn’t seem to be feeling well, which dogs she likes to play with, whether she at her meals. It’s so great to feel comfortable leaving her in their care for the day, and she comes home happy and tired from a full day of play. Also love the webcams where I can see her playing and relaxing with her friends throughout the day. So glad I made the choice to come here!

Every time we walk by 50th Ave my dog runs towards Happy Dogs. She loves the open environment to play with other dogs and we love the quality of care she receives. Happy Dogs is the most affordable doggie daycare option in LIC and they really seem to care for the pups - between posting lots of photos on Instagram every day and including a pic of your pup when you check out. I also love the webcams so I can spy on my dog when I’m missing her

My pup, Luna, and I love Happy Dogs LIC. I was thrilled by their transparency - when we initially signed up for a temperament test, they outlined not only what they expected of me as the other, but also what I could expect from them. They don’t arbitrarily separate dogs by size, but rather look to group them by temperament. The pups are allowed to play, while supervised, which leads to my pup being nice and tired when she comes home. Also, should anything happen, they’ll contact you immediately with photos and a description of what happened. For example, Luna got a scratch on her nose. When the workers noticed it, they took a picture, cleaned it, and sent me an email telling me about it and giving me an update on how Luna was doing. I trust them with my girl and she likes going, so it’s a win/win.

This place is really nice. The place is really clean and the staff are very friendly. I like that they have a site you can access the camera and spy on your pups. I like the fact that I can check on my pups and see if they are enjoying their stay.

I can’t say enough great things about Happy Dogs! Pickup and drop off is very streamline and efficient, great for a busy work morning commute. Every day after daycare, my pup is happy & tired (in the best way). The facility is clean, well-organized, and filled with plenty of space for play and rest. They are also very accommodating with special requests - they make sure Kylu drinks plenty of water throughout the day—he’s super picky about it, and they go out of their way to keep him hydrated and comfortable. That kind of thoughtful care means everything.

So impressed and satisfied with Happy Dogs! It’s great value if your dog is social and comfortable with large packs but needs daycare attention.

We have been sending our 1.5 year old lab mix Shiloh to Happy Dogs LIC for several months now. They take great care of him and we feel very comfortable bringing him there several times a week! They are extremely easy to communicate with and are very reasonably priced. We are fortunate to have found Happy Dogs LIC :)

They always take good care of my baby. She (Justy) is happy to be there and is plenty pooped out at the end of the day. Easy drop off and pick up. Prices are reasonable, but I would request a deeper discount and time extensions for bulk purchases.
